As President of HLP, Helen Penland has over 25 years of experience in the print, publishing, web, and packaging industries, with a keen focus on detail. She was employed in a variety of positions including copy editor/proofreader, design and production manager, project manager, and general manager. All positions had one common thread –– quality management.

​ She joined a networking group where one of the members requested she proof and edit his large website. And, so it began. Site after site, paper after paper, the workload grew until Helen finally put all her skills and background into play, starting HLP Quality Media, LLC.

Since that time, Helen has become SEO certified, worked on innumerable websites, books, and documents of all types including textbooks.
